On December 23, actress Yamada Yu announced via Instagram that she will be leaving her agency Our Songs Creative by the end of the year. 

Yamada wrote, "I am full of gratitude for the great effort of my agency that I was able to vigorously and happily work in various genres starting as a model, then a singer, talent, and actress over the past 22 years." 

On her future activities, she said, "I plan to open my own private office, and continue my work modestly while receiving help for the time being." To her fans, she expressed, "To my fans who have always supported me, I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart."
