YOSHIKI to make a remote appearance on 'Kohaku Uta Gassen'

TH STAFF

It's been revealed that YOSHIKI will be making a remote appearance on the '71st Kohaku Uta Gassen' to air on December 31.

This will be YOSHIKI's third consecutive year participating in the 'Kohaku Uta Gassen,' and sixth consecutive year if including his participation in the program as X JAPAN. YOSHIKI, who has been remaining in Los Angeles since February due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be making a remote appearance performing X JAPAN's "ENDLESS RAIN" on the piano.

In addition, YOSHIKI's friends Brian May and Roger Taylor of QUEEN, and Sarah Brightman, who appeared on the 'Kohaku' with YOSHIKI in 2018, will be participating remotely from their respective countries. Reportedly, there will also be a singer from Japan participating in the performance. "I believe we will be able to show a very exciting and moving stage. It would make me happy if we could give everyone a little bit of courage through music," YOSHIKI said.
