It's been announced that the documentary film 'UNDER THE SKY' under YOSHIKI's global project, which was scheduled to broadcast on December 23 via YouTube Originals, has been postponed.
As the music industry worldwide has taken a hit from the COVID-19 pandemic, YOSHIKI wanted to "deliver a message to people around the world that we can overcome any difficulty," so he invited guests from various countries to hold a music event online. There were eleven confirmed artists set to participate in the event: Marilyn Manson, The Chainsmokers, St. Vincent, Nicole Scherzinger, SUGIZO, HYDE, Jane Zhang, Lindsey Stirling, SixTONES, Scorpions, and Sarah Brightman.
The details of this project were announced during a press conference on November 20. Since then, COVID-19 has spread uncontrollably worldwide. As a result, the staff and other persons involved needed more time than expected to make adjustments so the postponement was decided. The new broadcast date will be announced at a later date.
