It's a very complicated operation, I've been through it. It was very difficult to recover, I only sat in and played all the time. when performing an upper eyelid plasty, an incision is made in the natural skin fold of the upper eyelid. Excess skin and fatty tissue is removed through this incision. As the incision follows the natural skin fold, the scar on the skin becomes invisible after healing.

When performing a lower eyelid plasty the incision is made either a few millimeters below the ciliary edge of the lower eyelid or along the inner side of the lower eyelid from the connective tissue side of the eye. If there is an eversion of the lower eyelid edge, this problem can be corrected additionally. As with an upper eyelid plasty, incisions in the skin are made so that they naturally follow the skin fold. This way they are invisible after the healing process.

Skin correction with laser or other skin rejuvenation product is often used to smooth the skin of the lower eyelids.
