On January 9th, Nogizaka46 announced that member Yoshida Ayano Christie has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. 

According to an announcement on the group's official website, Yoshida took the PCR test on the 7th at the time of her stage play, and was confirmed positive for the virus on the 8th. She has no symptoms and is currently recuperating at home under instruction of the health center.

After contact tracing, two external staff members were identified to be persons of close contact. They are in contact with the health center and are monitoring their health.
