On January 1, Sashihara Rino announced that she has launched her YouTube channel 'Sashihara Channel.' 

In her first video, Sashihara explained the backstory of launching her channel, "Recently, I've been appearing on TV a lot where I stand next to the MC, and my opportunities where I appear as a guest in a 'hinadan' (tiered doll stand) setting and talk about myself have decreased. I felt that I haven't been appearing in programs that will make my fans, who have been supporting me since I was an idol, happy." 

Sashihara plans to upload at least one video a week, and in those videos, she will be doing a lot of talking, eating, and playing video games. She also revealed that she will be editing the videos herself.
