Previously, it was announced that actor Takeda Shinji (48) had contracted COVID-19, and now, his wife, model Shizuka Manami (26) has been diagnosed with the virus. 

Her agency Ten Carat made the announcement on their official website, "As it was previously reported, Shizuka had been identified to be a person of close contact after her husband Takeda Shinji had been infected with the virus. Afterwards, she took the PCR test and was confirmed positive." She is now recovering and monitoring her health under guidance of the health center. 

Takeda first broke out with a fever on New Year's Eve and had been resting at home, but his symptoms continued until January 2nd. As such, he took the antigen test and was confirmed positive for coronavirus.
