It's been announced that JUN SKY WALKER(S) member Teraoka Yohito will "graduate" from the band.
On the band's official website, it states, "After discussion with Mori Junta, Kobayashi Masayuki, and Miyata Kazuya, it was decided that JUN SKY WALKER(S) will be continuing their activities with three members. We will be separating with Teraoka Yohito." Mori Junta also commented, "I believe this decision comes as we all want to spend the rest of our musical careers freely and concentrate on the things that we want to do." Similarly, Teraoka revealed on his official website, "My music journey will still continue. I want to continue an exciting journey that I haven't seen before."
JUN SKY WALKER(S) formed in 1980, and Teraoka joined in 1988. They had been quite active since making their major debut that same year, but Teraoka withdrew from the band in 1993. Then they disbanded after their live at Hibiya Outdoor Music Hall in 1997. The band reformed in 2007 at which time Teraoka rejoined as well. Since officially resuming their activities in 2012, they have released an original album and held nationwide tours.
