
On January 14th, the '32nd Japan Best Jewellery Wearer Awards Ceremony' was held in Tokyo.
The "Jewellery Best Wearer Award" is presented every year to celebrities, both male and female, who suits jewelry the most. The winners of this year's awards are Mori Nana (teen division), Araki Yuko (20's), Toda Erika (30's), Koike Eiko (40's), Saito Yuki (50's), Tanaka Misako (over 60's), Yokohama Ryusei (men's), and former soccer player Uchida Atsuto (special award).
Toda expressed, "I hope to become a woman who suits jewelry more and more as I go into my forties and fifties."
Yokohama received the award as people in the jewelry industry hopes that he will become "a trend leader in men's jewelry." He commented, "I hope to become a man who looks good wearing jewelry. I will do my best everyday to shine like jewelry."
