To commemorate 25 years since their formation, BUMP OF CHICKEN released a new digital single titled "Flare" on February 11.

Apparently, Fujiwara Motoo (Vo, G) had been working on this song since last summer. The band has also uploaded a performance video for "Flare" directed by photographer Ota Yoshiharu onto YouTube. They commented, "We would like everyone that has supported us until now to listen to our newest song. With thanks."
