On February 1, Watanabe Entertainment announced that comedian duo Zabunguru will be disbanding on March 31. 

Zabunguru formed in 1999 with Matsuo Yosuke and Kato Ayumu. They gained attention with Kato's phrases "kuyashiidesu!" and "kacchi kachi yazo!" then won the 'M-1 Grand Prix 2007.' In 2019, the program 'Kenbutsu no Sekai wo Fukaboriri Bokura Kensetsubu' hosted by Zabunguru started on Sun TV. 

Watanabe Entertainment explained that Matsuo wanted to end his career in showbiz and challenge himself to new things. As such, Matsuo will leave showbiz, while Kato will plan on continuing his activities.
