Singer and actor DEAN FUJIOKA has completed his first picture story book titled 'FamBam' (1,500 yen plus tax). A portion of the proceeds will be donated through Save the Children to a newly-launched project that aims to donate picture books to children across Asia. 

The book will focus on the FamBam Monsters, which are characters that were born from Dean's fan club 'FamBam,' as they set out on a journey. Popular illustrator Hikarin, who is known for the Ultra Kaiju picture book series, was in charge of the illustration. 

DEAN commented, "In order to actually feel the importance of understanding and loving each other, it's essential to have empathy toward others and influence others. I hope this picture book will become a link that will bring out the power of imagination that works bidirectionally."
