Former AKB48 member and actress Kojima Natsuki has announced that she will retire from showbiz on March 31.
Kojima first announced her retirement on October 10, 2020, but had not revealed when she would be retiring. On February 14, she updated her blog reporting that her second photo book 'Matane' will be released on March 31, which would also be her retirement date.
She wrote, "I get really sad when I think about the day I will be leaving this work that I have been doing for about ten years. I am planning a lot of things in order to make fun memories with everyone for the remaining month and a half, so please continue to support me."
On the title of her photo book 'Matane,' she explained, "It's not goodbye, but I hope to see you again. Please don't forget my feelings and me in general."

I will miss her music but I am happy she will be able to get a break after years of performing.
