It's been announced that GReeeeN will be providing the theme song for TBS' 'Tsunagu, Tsunagaru' (To Connect, To Be Connected) project to commemorate ten years since the Great East Japan Earthquake. 

Through 'Tsunagu, Tsunagaru,' TBS will be delivering the past, present, and future of the disaster-stricken areas through news shows and special programs starting on March 6. GReeeeN will be in charge of the theme song that will be featured in these programs. 

As a dentist in Fukushima's Soma City, GReeeeN's leader HIDE helped to verify the identities of the deceased a month after the earthquake. On the tenth anniversary project, the group commented, "During this journey of reconstruction, our hearts were with those who lived day by day. We hope to deliver the theme song for the 'Tsunagu, Tsunagaru' project as people who spent those days in Fukushima."
