On February 10, model Koizumi Satoko (39) updated her Instagram account announcing the birth of her first child.

Koizumi shared a photo of her newborn baby, saying, "I gave birth to a healthy baby boy the other day. Both mom and baby are healthy and doing well."

She reflected, "I had been excited about my birth story, but it came all of a sudden. It was my first time, so I didn't know I was having contractions. I had been tolerating them for a relatively good amount of time."

Koizumi revealed that her husband was there to witness the birth, "I had the support of my husband, the doctor, and nurses. I was told that I delivered rather quickly for it being my first time." 

She continued to express, "The moment I saw our child, my chest tightened, and I couldn't stop crying. Thank you for being born without any problems. The road home with my son after we were discharged was something I had not known before. I could see a bright and wonderful world full of hope."

Last year, Koizumi announced that she had gotten remarried and was expecting her first child. Congratulations!
