Oguri Shun, Takahata Mitsuki, and Nakamura Shido have been added to the cast of movie 'Character' as supporting roles. 

The protagonist of the movie is Yamashiro Keigo (Suda Masaki), a young man who dreams of making it big as a manga artist. By chance, he becomes the first witness of a murder crime which inspires him to start drawing a suspense manga called '34' basing the character on the criminal that he saw. Life is going well as he becomes a best-selling manga artist and marries his girlfriend Kawase Natsumi. However, cases that imitate those in his manga occur one after another. While all of this is happening, the murderer, named Morozumi (played by Fukase of SEKAI NO OWARI), appears in front of Yamashiro again.

Oguri will play Seida Shunsuke, a police sergeant of the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Department's First Investigation Division. He realizes that a murder case that occurred on a mountain trail is very similar to a case that was depicted in Yamashiro's '34.' 

Meanwhile, Takahata will play Yamashiro's girlfriend Natsumi, and Nakamura will take on the role of Makabe Kota, an assistant inspector of the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Department's First Investigation Division. 

'Character' is set to open in theaters this June. You can check out the trailer below!
