RADWIMPS will release an album titled "2+0+2+1+3+1+1= 10 years 10 songs" on March 11.
After the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, RADWIMPS launched a charity project called 'Itoshiki.' Afterwards, they have continued to support the disaster-stricken areas with various musicians, creators, and actors. Then almost every year on March 11, they have worked with videographer Shimada Daisuke to release a new song on YouTube.
This year marks ten years since the earthquake disaster. In remembrance of the disaster areas and victims, RADWIMPS will release their album "2+0+2+1+3+1+1= 10 years 10 songs" this March 11. It will contain a total of 10 songs, which includes 8 that have been released over the previous years.
The album will be available for purchase in three different types: CD-Only, CD+DVD, and CD-Blu-ray. The DVD and Blu-ray will contain all videos that have been released thus far. The album's artwork features photos that Shimada took when he visited the disaster areas.
All sales profit until December 31 will be donated to the Japan Red Cross Society and local government. It will be used to support recovery from natural disasters that occur nationwide.
