It's been reported that actor Matsushima Shota (30) has tested positive for COVID-19. 

According to his agency AMUSE, Matsushima had been rehearsing for an upcoming stage play when several people involved in the play had tested positive on March 25th. After getting retested, it was confirmed on the 30th that the actor had also been infected with the virus. He is currently recovering and stable. 

Matsushima was scheduled to star in the stage play 'Untouchable Beauty' at Osaka Shochikuza in April. After nine confirmed cases, all performances between April 16th and 26th have been canceled.
