It's been announced that AKB48 Team 8 member Hasegawa Momoka's activities have ended as of March 26.

According to the announcement, Hasegawa's agency DH Corporation received her request to withdraw, and after discussing her future activities, it was decided that her activities in AKB48 would come to an end. As such, she will not be starring in the stage play 'Majimuri Gakuen Rai' which was scheduled to begin on March 27. 

Hasegawa started her activities as a member of Team 8 in October of 2019. She recently created a buzz when she served as the center for the group's performance of "Flying Get" on NTV's music special 'Premium Music 2021' on March 24.
