BUMP OF CHICKEN will be providing the theme song "Nanairo" for NHK's morning drama 'Okaeri Mone' that's scheduled to premiere on May 17.

'Okaeri Mone' is a story about 'Nagaura Momone' (played by Kiyohara Kaya), who was born and raised on an island in Kesennuma Bay of Miyagi Prefecture. She works hard to become a weather forecaster to deliver a happy 'future' to people.

On the theme song, BUMP OF CHICKEN commented, "Prior to getting started on the song last summer, we had the opportunity to listen to the drama's staff and their thoughts on creating a work. We were touched by their passion and were able to empathize with them."
