Dragon Ash's new song "Endeavor" will be used as the opening theme for anime 'Cestvs: The Roman Fighter' starting April 14. 

'Cestvs: The Roman Fighter' is based on Wazarai Shizuya's mangas 'Kentou Ankoku Den Cestvs' and 'Kendo Shitou Den Cestvs.' Set in ancient Rome, it tells the story of a young slave named Cestvs who seeks freedom while suffering a cruel fate. 

On providing its opening theme, Dragon Ash commented, "We love anime almost as much as we love music, so there is no happier thing. We don't do it often, but we read the scenario as well as the original work to create 'Endeavor' which matches the anime's worldview."
