On March 5, Fanfan (Tp, Vo) announced that she would be leaving Quruli. 

Fanfan joined Quruli in June of 2011. After announcing her pregnancy in 2015, she took a break from live activities for a short while. She made her comeback on stage when the band performed at 'FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '17' in 2017. Since then, she had worked together with the band's original members Kishida Shigeru (Vo, G) and Sato Masashi (B, Vo). 

On the band's official website, Fanfan explained that she started thinking of leaving Quruli as she tried to balance motherhood and band activities. While listening to songs from their latest album "Tensai no Ai" at home, she felt that "now is the time." After expressing her wishes to Kishida and Sato, they suggested that she take a childcare leave instead, but Fanfan made the choice to leave. 

Although Fanfan will no longer be a part of Quruli, she plans to continue making music. "First of all, I want to work hard as a mom, then make music on my own pace," she said. She also sent out a message to her fans, "I will now become a fan of Quruli. To my fans, I ask for your continued support."
