Former NMB48 member Kadowaki Kanako has announced that she will be retiring from showbiz on March 31.
On Twitter, Kadowaki wrote, "I will retire from showbiz on March 31. While carrying out my activities as a talent, I found a new thing that I want to challenge and came to this decision."
She reflected, "I feel very happy to have become a member of NMB48, graduate, and work until now as a talent. Being able to experience things that I can't easily experience, it has become an irreplaceable and unchangeable time in my life." She also expressed her gratitude to all of her fans and people that she's worked with over the years.
Kadowaki joined NMB48 as a first-generation member, then graduated from the group in 2016. She will be giving an update on her activities after April.
