Hoshino Gen will be in charge of the theme song for TBS's upcoming drama 'Kikazaru Koi ni wa Riyuu ga Atte' to begin on April 20. 

The love story stars Kawaguchi Haruna as the protagonist Mashiba Kurumi, and Yokohama Ryusei as a minimalist chef named Fujino Shun. Living under the same roof with various people of different values, Mashiba finds love, deepens friendships, and finds her individuality. 

This will be Hoshino's first time providing a drama's theme song since NHK's morning drama 'Hanbun, Aoi' that aired about three years ago. He commented, "By seriously facing this thing called love, I think I was able to write a song that matches both a kiss and a tear."
