On March 26, 'Bunshun Online' reported that Nogizaka46 member Kanagawa Saya went on a date with Johnny's Jr. member Hayashi Ren. The following day, she updated her official blog apologizing for the reports. 

Kanagawa started off by saying, "I apologize for my careless behavior at a time when I was supposed to be focusing on my activities in Nogizaka46." She then clarified that she and Hayashi met up as "friends." 

Kanagawa added, "I receive a lot of work as Nogizaka46 and as Kanagawa Saya. I am reflecting on my selfish behavior when I was supposed to be focusing on that work. In order to regain everyone's trust someday, I will carry out my activities with sincerity and awareness."

Finally, she said, "I love Nogizaka46, and I want to continue doing my best in Nogizaka46. I am very sorry."
