On March 23, Watanabe Entertainment announced that Okabe Dai of comedian trio Hanako registered his marriage with a non-celebrity woman. 

Reportedly, the two had been dating for about eight years. They submitted their marriage registration papers at the local ward office on March 22. Okabe commented, "I, Hanako Okabe, have married a woman whom I had been dating for some time. While aiming for a family that never stops laughing, I will do my best to bring even more laughter to everyone. Please continue to support me."
