Chihara Minori has announced that she will be taking a break from singing after December 31.
Chihara made her debut as a singer and voice actress in 2004. She explained, "Reaching 40 during the pandemic was a big turning point where I was able to reexamine my future. Also, as I spent time confronting myself, I felt that my path as a performer is not my everything." While she will be taking a break from singing, she plans to continue voice acting.
Chihara will hold a live event called 'SUMMER CHAMPION 2021 ~Minori Chihara Final Summer Live~' on August 7 and 8 at Kawaguchiko Stellar Theater in Yamanashi. More details will be announced via her official website at a later date.
