It's been announced that DA PUMP's DAICHI will be leaving the group on April 30. 

Due to the worsening of his chronic hernia, it has become difficult for DAICHI to continue performing. After repeated discussions, it was decided that he would end his activities in the group as well as showbiz. On the group's official website, DAICHI commented, "I've been receiving treatment for a long time, but year after year, I felt troubled because I haven't been able to give a performance that I'm satisfied with. To me, DA PUMP is my starting point, and also my aspiration. To my fans and everyone who have given me the chance to dance on stage, thank you very much until now."

DAICHI will continue to participate in release events and other promotional activities for the group's latest single "Dream on the street." As for programs that have been recorded before April 30, they are scheduled to air by mid-May.
