Former ChouTokkyu member Yoshino Koichi, also known as Koichi, has announced that he married a non-celebrity woman last October. Additionally, he welcomed his first child, a son, in February. 

Yoshino announced via Twitter, "I have an announcement for everyone. I married a non-celebrity woman, whom I had been dating for some time, in October of last year, and our first child, a baby boy, was born in February of 2021." 

He expressed, "I am still immature, but I have the responsibility of being a father, and while I can't help but to feel lost, my sense of responsibility and feelings towards work have gotten stronger." He added, "I thought about whether or not I should announce it until the very last minute. However, I couldn't stand on stage while hiding the fact that I've become a father." 

Finally, he stated, "It would make me happy if you would watch over me warmly. Please continue to support me." 

Yoshino joined ChouTokkyu in 2011, but withdrew from the group in April of 2018. Since leaving his agency in April of 2019, he has been active as an unsigned artist.
