TOKIO, Inc.'s Joshima Shigeru, Kokubun Taichi, and Matsuoka Masahiro will be starring in Fumakilla Ltd.'s new TV CMs beginning April 2. 

On April 1, the three established the company TOKIO, Inc. with Joshima as president, and Kokubun and Matsuoka as vice presidents. They will be starring in the CMs for Fumakilla's insect repellent, battery-powered insect repellent, and one-push mosquito repellent. This will be their first CM since Nagase Tomoya left the group and Johnny's & Associates on March 31. 

TOKIO has served as the face of Fumakilla since first starring in their TV CM in 1997. For the new CMs, Kokubun was appointed as the creative director. On the CM's concept and highlight, he commented, "Besides showing the product, I wanted to create a CM that shows the people manufacturing the product and the employees working hard. So I believe that I was able to deliver that." When asked what was difficult, he said, "Everything (lol). It was very difficult to appear in it while trying to create it behind the scenes with the staff, but it was a great experience, so I want to utilize this."  

On Kokubun's work as creative director, Matsuoka stated, "We had it easy. If anything, being a producer is in his [Kokubun] nature." Similarly Joshima said, "I thought it suited him. He originally liked doing it. Also, he knows the members and the group, so I felt safe leaving it up to him."

Finally, Joshima talked about their company's aspirations, "Until now, we were active as a group, but we will continue to do 'TOKIO' as a new company. It will be the three of us, but we will be active more widely with deeper feelings, and challenge ourselves to new things."
