On April 21, AKB48's Minegishi Minami updated her Twitter account revealing that it has been 500 days since she stopped drinking. 

Minegishi stopped drinking in December of 2019 in preparation for her graduation concert which was scheduled on April 2, 2020. However, it had been postponed due to COVID-19, and so she decided to continue being sober. Her graduation concert is now set to be held on May 22 at Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa. 

Minegishi wrote, "The first two months were the hardest. I'm really glad I decided to do it! I didn't drink again today (500th day)."
