On April 26th, Horipro Inc. announced that actor Nakao Akiyoshi (32) has tested positive for COVID-19. 

According to the announcement, Nakao noticed a change in his physical condition on the evening of the 24th, then broke out with a fever. He immediately got tested at a local clinic and was confirmed positive for the virus. On his current condition, Horipro commented, "He currently has a low-grade fever, but is stable. He will devote himself to treatment under the guidance of the health center and medical institution."

Reportedly, one staff member and Kamiji Yusuke, who recently filmed a YouTube video together, have been considered to be persons of close contact. As for his family, they have already been tested and received negative results.
