For many years, Giorgio Armani has aimed to create clothing that will help women gain confidence in society and support women showcase their individuality. Til this day, he continues to search for opportunities for women to display their individuality, femininity, capability, and strength.
This spring, Giorgio Armani will start 'Cross Road Project' together with 14 strong, elegant, and independent women from around the world. Through this project, the 14 women will each talk about their 'Cross Road' that they encountered in their lives. While they each come from different backgrounds with different professions and different dreams, they all have one thing in common. That is they have all reached a cross road at one point in their lives, and made a decision that allowed them to grow, and ultimately, led them to where they are today.
On becoming the Japanese representative, Nanao commented, "I am very happy to have been selected as the ambassador to represent Japan for this Cross Road Project. Since watching Giorgio Armani's preview show up close in Paris in 2017, I had hoped that I would become a woman who would look good in Armani's beautiful clothing."
