After weeks of teasing their first new Japanese comeback since "Better" last year. The Korean/Japanese powerhouse, Twice's new single "Kura Kura" is here. The song and music video follow the string of mature themed releases they have made in Japan since 2018, that have recently also integrated into their Korean releases. JYP Entertainment teased the release with 19 teasers in total as well as booking an performance on the Kelly Clarkson Show of their last single, fan favorite "Cry for Me".

The song has been met with much love from Japanese, Korean, and International fans alike thus far, many stating they are loving the styling for the era, as well as the smoother vocal runs and the R&B style of the instrumental.
