It's been reported that actor Yamamoto Koji (44) has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to his official website, Yamamoto learned that he was infected with the virus after conducting a PCR test in preparation for his next work. He is currently asymptomatic and quarantining.

Yamamoto was scheduled to make an appearance in the stage play 'Shibuya de Aimashou' on April 23 and 25, but has stepped down after his positive diagnosis.
