It's been reported that actor Uchino Seiyo (52) has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to his agency's official website, Uchino broke out with a fever on May 6th so he conducted the PCR test and learned that he was positive for the virus. He no longer has a fever and is recuperating at home under the guidance of the health center. 

Uchino will be starring in the upcoming NHK morning drama 'Okaeri Mone' to begin on the 17th. He has not had any filming recently, and his positive diagnosis will not affect his filming schedule nor the drama's broadcast.
