TH STAFF

The winners of the 39th JASRAC Awards have been announced.

The annual award is presented by the JASRAC (Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers, and Publishers) to owners of the works that received the largest amount of royalty distribution throughout the year. This year, the gold prize went to LiSA's "Gurenge" which was released in July of 2019. This song recorded over 200 million streams in October of 2020, placing second in JASRAC's interactive transmissions division, and first in its karaoke division.

The silver prize went to Official Hige Dandism's "Pretender" and the bronze prize to Yonezu Kenshi's "Lemon." Last year, "Lemon" won the gold prize so it's the second consecutive year to receive a JASRAC Award. Meanwhile, the International Award went to "Naruto Shippuden Background Music" composed by Takanashi Yasuharu
