It's been reported that singer-songwriter Sakai Yu has been confirmed positive for COVID-19. As such, his one-man live 'Sakai Yu Omatase YAON Live 2021 ~Ai no Deban~' which was scheduled to be held on June 6th at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall has been canceled.  

According to his official website, Sakai broke out with a fever on May 20th. After taking the PCR test, he was confirmed positive for the virus on the 21st. His condition is currently stable, and contact tracing is underway.
