On May 16, actress Sugisaki Hana announced that she will be closing her Instagram account.

Sugisaki wrote, "To my followers on Instagram. I will be closing this account!" She explained, "It's sudden so you may be surprised, but year after year, my feelings of wanting to concentrate on conveying something through acting has gotten stronger." 

Sugisaki revealed that she had decided that she would close her account after the NHK morning drama 'Ochoyan,' in which she stars as the heroine, had successfully aired its final episode. 

"Everyone's warm comments have encouraged me many times until now. Thank you very much!! I will continue to steadily move forward while cherishing these grateful feelings, so please look forward to it," she said.
