Entertainment agency Sweet Power announced on June 1 that actress Takeuchi Aisa (19) has resigned on May 31. 

On Sweet Power's official website, it states, "First of all, we would like to express our gratitude to all of her fans who have watched over and rooted for Takeuchi's activities since her debut as well as to all persons concerned who have supported her activities. We would also like to apologize for this sudden announcement." 

Since February, Takeuchi had fallen ill both mentally and physically. She showed symptoms of panic disorder, so she had been treating it accordingly. Afterward, she was officially diagnosed with panic disorder on May 11. As her symptoms would come and go, she and her family decided that she focus on treatment and eventually pursue a new path. 

Sweet Power said, "Considering her doctor's opinion, she will change her environment and reset her work before thinking about her future. This is a positive conclusion made by Takeuchi herself, so we ask for your kind understanding." 

Takeuchi also commented, "I thought about it a lot, but after talking things through with my family, I wanted to prioritize my doctor's opinion, change my environment, rest for awhile, and devote myself to treatment in order to bring back my healthy self."
