Nagayama Eita and Mukai Osamu have been cast in NHK's drama 'Bakumatsu Aibo-den' that's set to air from January 2022. 

The drama is set in Kyoto during the Bakumatsu Period. Sakamoto Ryoma and Hijikata Toshizo receive a secret mission to find the person who attempted to kill the Shogun. They pursue the truth of the case with their bold reasoning and swordsmanship. 

Sakamoto Ryoma will be played by Eita and Hijikata Toshizo by Mukai. It will be written by Dobashi Akihiro and directed by Horikirizono Kentaro. Filming is scheduled to begin later this month.
