It's been announced that AKB48 Team 8 and Team 4 member Gyoten Yurina (22) has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to the group's official blog, Gyoten broke out with a fever on the 28th. She conducted the PCR test the next day and was confirmed positive for the virus. 

At the time of the announcement, Gyoten was awaiting further instruction from the health center. DH Co., Ltd. emphasized that they will continue to do their best in keeping the members and staff safe by strengthening the awareness of infection prevention.
