AKB48 and STU48 member Okada Nana has announced that she will be transferring to Avex Asunaro Company.

Okada launched her YouTube channel, tentatively titled 'Okada Nana Channel,' and made the announcement herself via livestream. She expressed, "It's been about nine years since I joined AKB48, but I feel very happy that my transfer has been decided at this time. Using this opportunity, I hope to grow more, and do my best to contribute to the 48 groups." 

She continued, "I'm not used to doing things by myself, so I am anxious. However, I hope to challenge myself to various things and do my best to repay my fans, family, and everyone else I'm indebted to."

Okada also showed interest in going solo, saying, "Besides singing, I want to challenge myself to variety and acting. I will do my best in everything. My biggest dream? It would be great if I could make my solo debut."
