Dempagumi.inc member Furukawa Mirin has announced that she has given birth to her first child, a baby boy!

On her blog, she reported, "He's a healthy 3,036 gram (6 lb 11 oz) baby boy. His first words were 'Nice to meet you.'" Since having her baby, she has been busy with breastfeeding and changing diapers. She also shared that she cried so much while giving birth because it hurt so much, but expressed relief saying, "I am so so glad that both myself and baby are healthy." On her son, she said, "Because he was born healthily, I want him to experience many things. Do whatever you want to do."

Furukawa married manga artist Aso Shuichi in September of 2019. She announced her pregnancy in January and went on maternity leave on May 20.
