NGT48 member Ogino Yuka has announced her graduation from the group.

This announcement was made on July 23 during a special concert commemorating the release of the group's sixth single. On the group's official website, she wrote, "Over the past two and a half years, I wasn't able to carry out my activities as I wished. There were times I felt trapped. As such, I've caused a lot of problems for the agency staff as well as my family." 

She continued, "I felt that if I were to remain in the group, I would depend too much on the other members. So I decided to make this graduation announcement today as I have made the resolve to graduate from the NGT48 that I love and embark on a new path." 

Ogino passed the 'Baito AKB48 Project' in September of 2014. The following year during the '2nd AKB48 Group Draft Kaigi,' she was named as a first generation members of NGT48.
