Shochiku Geino has announced that Yasuda Dai Circus's Kuro-chan has tested positive for COVID-19 after conducting a PCR test. 

According to the announcement, Kuro-chan felt uncomfortable and had the chills before going in to work on the 18th. After checking his temperature, he had a fever of 37.5°C (99.5°F). 

On the 15th, it was announced that Yasuda Dai Circus's Dancho Yasuda was COVID-19 positive. Because Kuro-chan had not been in contact with him recently, he was not recognized as a person of close contact by the health center. Shochiku Geino believes that Kuro-chan contracted the virus elsewhere.
