Actor Irie Jingi (28) has been diagnosed with COVID-19. 

According to his agency, Irie came down with a fever and a sense of fatigue on the 7th. He conducted the PCR test the following day and learned that he was infected with the virus. He will now be recuperating under the guidance of the health center. 

Irie made his debut with the drama 'Zettai Kareshi' in 2008. Since then, he has starred in various movies such as 'Gokusen THE MOVIE' and dramas such as 'Ryusei Wagon.' More recently, he starred in TBS's 'Dragon Zakura' from April to June.
