It's been reported that actress Matsui Rena has been infected with COVID-19.

According to her agency, Matsui had been working with someone who tested positive for the virus. While she wasn't identified as a close contact, she voluntarily took the PCR test on July 31st and learned that she had been infected as well. She will be recuperating under guidance of the health center. 

Matsui currently stars in the TBS drama 'Promise Cinderella.'
