Obukuro Nariaki's new song "Parallax" has been picked up as the collaboration song for the movie 'Moonlight Shadow' to open in theaters on September 10. 

'Moonlight Shadow' is based on a short story of the same title by Yoshimoto Banana. It tells the story of a woman who tries to overcome sadness and a sense of loss after her loved one suddenly passes away. 

The protagonist Satsuki is played by Komatsu Nana and her lover Hitoshi by Miyazawa Hio. It also stars Sato Himi and Usuda Asami. 

The last time Obukuro released a new song was about a year and nine months ago when he released his second album "Piercing" in December of 2019. While details on the song's release will be announced later, you can listen to a clip of it in the movie's trailer below.
