On August 5, model Saeko revealed via Instagram stories that she has acquired a qualification to become a disaster prevention specialist.

Saeko wrote, "I received this," and shared a photo of her disaster prevention specialist badge. Back in May, she had revealed that she had been studying to obtain the qualification. 

Fans noticed her real name "Doukyu Saeko" printed under her photo and commented on how unusual her surname is. 

Saeko has been involved in volunteering since the Great East Japan Earthquake. In 2019, she launched a non-profit organization aimed to carry out relief activities in disaster areas.
